Sonic groaned as he sat up on the couch, the loud ringing of his telephone waking him from his afternoon nap. Didn't people realise that saving the world was hard work? He thought he deserved a little relaxation after all these years!
Sighing, the Blue Blur leaned over and picked up the receiver, holding it to his ear. "Hello?" he asked irritably, rubbing at his eyes.
"Hello there, blue boy."
Sonic nearly dropped the phone, snapped out of his grogginess by Rouge's voice. It had been two months since the little "incident" at Rouge's home, and it didn't seem like Rouge had spoken about it... but at every opportunity

Sonic's New Look: Rouge-ified
Rouge the Bat's room. Sonic stood outside her door, looking at it. No one had ever been in there; not even Shadow or Omega. It was Rouge's private chamber. Her sanctuary. And Sonic was staring at the one blockade from it.
He had to speak to Rouge about something, and he had checked all of her home looking for her... except there. Maybe he should... but what if she wasn't? Would it be right to violate her privacy like that? Then again...
Sonic made his mind up. He stepped forward, grinning, and placed his hand on the handle...

"Please state passcode," a mechanical voice sounded out. Sonic jumped in surprise.

...Ok, REALLY sorry I'm late! i meant to get this up on Christmas. In my defense, though, my dad has been to the hospital a lot lately, and he might have cancer. needless to say, I haven't been in the writing mood. But I NEEDED to finish this today...because i'm leaving tomorrow for three months.
On to happier news. This is part sequel and part rewrite to...my earlier story in December. I changed some things because of the requests of pkstarstorm1up, who requested me to write this story. I hope you liked it, pkstarstorm1up!
As for my other projects I PROMISED would come out in December...May. I'll be back in may. So...wait til then. Regardless, hope you enjoy this story!
